I recently purchased two 12" R-types from a friend who decided to upgrade to the type-x. I will be honest, I have little to no money to spend on this, so i opted with a Boss 1400w amp that puts out 300x2 rms. could someone tell me what kind of result they think this will produce, I know Boss products aren't the best. Also, one of my friends said I should go with 8 guage wiring, the other said 1 guage, which should I go with? Thanks for any help you can give. |

You should go with 4 awg wiring 
What kind of box will you be putting the

I am not sure about any specifications on the box, I bought the subs in the box he had then in, which he said was custom made. All i know is that it is a sealed one. |

for a 600 watt amp, use 4ga cable from the battery.
it should sound good. those subs are ideal with about 300 watts each
