2 yellow top batteries or 1 stinger 1700 battery?

they both supply 12.5VDC.
what you need to compare is their duty cycle, and discharge hysteresis curve.
that'll tell you how long they'll hold a 12 volt charge, based on current draw comparatively.

go for the yellow tops, their great batteries and come with a life time warrenty. also the deep cycle gell cell tech is amazingly stable.

Uh, actually I don't think they come with lifetime warranty. I just got a Yellow Top at Advance Auto and it comes with a one year replacement and a two or three pro rated, can't remember which. For some reason the red top has a better warranty (yellows are suppossed to be better, no?) but it still was not lifetime. Correct me if I am wrong anybody but at least that is the situation with mine.
