Anyone have some advice on a four channel amp pushing around 125W x 4 at 4 ohms? I was looking to spend around $200. Is this possible? Thanks. |

Kicker KX800.4 is 100x4 @ 4 ohms, and its about $300 I think? Are you positive you need that much power for components? Zapco Reference series amps are around $350 and offer similar power, too. Also try MTX, like the Thunder404 or similar.

Glasswolf, No I'm not sure I need that much power. I have two 6.5" MB Quart component speakers and two 6.5" coaxials. I just want a clean, crisp, and powerful sound without hearing the speakers struggle for power. What do you think? thanks. |

Glasswolf, what would you use for the best sound quality in that price range? |

if the kx800.4 is a bit steep look at the 600.4 its rated for 75x4 and should be plenty of power for the MBQ components far better than the 13x4 of the head unit
