I have just bought a pair of kicker L7 12s. I found a kicker KX 800.4. Its $300. I was thinkning about putting 200W onto each coil. Is this amp worth it or should I find a different one and if so which one?

That might be okay but since u have subwoofers u should probably go w/ a mono amp b/c they are made to power subs and produce lower frequencies better and most have good LP crossovers. I would suggest a Kicker KX 1200.1 or a JBL 1200.1, maybe even a Hifonics Brutus BX1500D. Ur best bet is the KX 1200.1 tho i'd say

I have also found Profile CL600M Mono Subwoofer Amplifier with 450W RMS @ 2 OHMS. Would two of these be sufficeint? I have also found a MTX Audio Thunder1501DR mono amp with 1500W RMS @ 2 OHMS for $400.
