the amps features:
400 W X 2 @ 2 Ohms RMS
800 W X 1 @ 4 Ohms Bridged RMS
2400 Watts Peak/Max
50-250 Hz 12dB variable HP/AP/LP crossover

My sub is polk momo MM12 500WRMS 1000WPEAK 4OHM Single Voice Coil. Would that be a good sub? I heard about being a little over power amplifier is a good thing then underpowering. Thanks

overpowering a sub usually won't hurt it, within reason, but it's not a good thing to do.
remember the power handling rating of a sub is a thermal rating of how much heat the coils can take without melting.
this is measured in watts, since the more power applied to the driver, the more heat is generated across the coils (remember a speaker is only about 5% mechanically efficient.)
In reality, in the proper enclosure, most speakers only need a fraction of their "rated power handling" power to reach full output.
that sub is rated for 500 watts. you'd be safer using a 300-500 watt amplifier @ 4 ohms.
