Ok im looking for a good cheap system. I want about 300 watt rms subs. i want 2 of them. 10 inch will be fine. I was looking at kicker compvr 10. what amp will be good for these subs. Im looking to spend around 100-250 on amp. best for the buck. Also i was looking for a single compvr vented sub box. glasswolf, where can i get some of these things like the vented single boxes for these subs and if you cant find single vented boxes a dual will be fine. Also which amp should i get. Thanx |

yeah the JBL 600.1 is a good bet. look at the alpine type R subs as well. they cost a little bit more, but are better subs for sure. hit harder, a bit cleaner.. but a little more money. they also do well in a sealed box. the CVRs aren't as good sealed really. as for the box, you can go pre-fab, or just build the box yourself if you like.

street price for a type R 10" should be around $110 I think that's not a big increase over a compVR raelly I'm not as familiar with their 10" prices off hand as I am with the 12". I don't use tens as much.
