Ok, after a couple of months of research/collecting funds I think I have a system plan. Tell me what you think, if I should change anything etc. My total budget is between 1300 and 1500 dollars, would really like to stick more towards the 1300 range because I already have most of that money.
Head Unit: Alpine 9835
Speakers: Diamond Audio HEX S500 (5.25 inches is the biggest I can go, no room for kicks).
Speaker Amp: Eclipse PA-4212 2 channel amp.
Sub: 1 Phoenix Gold Xeon X10 10" Sub
Sub Amp: Kicker KX400.1
I'm much more into SQ than SPL. I listen to everything, but I mainly listen to hip hop/acoustic rock/classic rock in my car. I like my bass to be punchy and clean, not muddy and overpowering. Tell me if I'm barking up the right tree, your help is GREATLY appreciated. |
