i got a stock radio, 2 12s and i hooked up my remote wire into my fuse box, a dude told me that my fuse box could start on fire.. i need some suggestions as to hooking up the wire correctly or another way. thanks

The fuse box does pose a fire risk (then again what does not) if you were to pinch the wire somewhere while running it. Same story goes when people try to run power wires from their battery through the shell of the car and past the door jam into the car. The wire casing overtime gets damaged and can lead to a fire. Just use a non-critical fuse that is not rated for some high amperage in accordance to the wire gauge and you will be ok.
