I have not purchased anything yet and am still up for any suggestions you have to offer. I think I am going to get 2 10" Diamond MKII M6 subs. I can get them for $138, which is apparently cost plus 10 percent. This is through an authorized dealer so it comes with the full warranty. What is the difference between dual 2 ohm voice coils and dual 4 ohm voice coils? I listen to rap and rock so I want them to hit hard and fast. Which should I get?
I also am not sure what kind of box or amp I should get. I have a jeep grand cherokee and was thinking I should get a ported box, but I'm not really sure what is best. The subs are supposed to be 800w rms. Which amp would you recommend for around $250? I was thinking about the jbl bp 1200.1 and the hifonics brutus 1500. I can get the amp at cost plus 10 percent as well. So I guess anything that retails around 400 should be within my budget. Thanks.

Eric
