I am getting a directed 500 amp should i get the 2 channel or the d amp, which one would push 2 jl audio w3 d4's 250 rms

single coil, 4 ohm subs?
go with the class D amp. (mono)

mmm if each sub has dual 4 ohm coils, you'll have two 2 ohm subs.
You'll either want a two-channel amp, or two mono amps, or a single mono amp if it's 1 ohm stable.
More amps today are being listed as 1 ohm stable, so that's worth a look.
Kicker, JBL, Orion, PG, and plenty of others come to mind.
