depends on the load.
if each sub is a single 4 ohm coil speaker, the mono amp will be best.

Well how would you connect a mono amp? Does'nt that mean it has one channel? Cause i am lookin for a good amp to buy to power my Kicker L15 12" solo barics that have 600 RMS, and are Dual 2 voice coil. How would a mono amp be connected to both of them subs? |

wire the coils in series, and subs in parallel to the amp.
if you have no idea what that means, consider taking your car to a shop and having a trained installer do the work.

Thanks GlassWolf for the help. How much power would two subs get a piece if a mono amp says it puts out 600Wx1? Also what does monoblock mean? |

x1 would indicate a monoblock amp (1 channel)
as opposed to a stereo, 2 channel amp
if the amp puts out 600 watts, it'd give 300 each to the subs

the JBL bp1200.1 for $200 on cardomain.com would work ideally for the two S12L5 subs
