How much watts does my amp need to be if i want to run a 400 watt sub. and would my amp need to be mono or 2 channel coz i'm not quite sure what the difference is! please help!!! |

is your sub dual voice coil or single and what ohm is it? |

I think it's a dual voice coil
and it's 4ohm |

if the sub is dual 4 ohm coils, and you have one sub, find a mono amp rated for the RMS handling of the sub @ 2 ohms.
