Friend of mine is selling a Sony Xplode XM-D400P5 800watt amp for $75, How is this amp? any reviews on it. It's gonna be hooked up to two 5x7 150watt speakers and two 350watt 5.25 |

sony amps are total crap. very high failure rates and very poor performance. no good amps are under $100. the JBL P80.4 is about the cheapest amp I know worth buying that'd do the job.

ok well, by the end of this week I should have $180 to spend on one, Would the JBL glass reccomened be best for under 180? |

now that's a much better budget to work with. you're getting closer to some decent amps. look at JBL, see what fits your needs. for 5x7 and 5.25" speakers though, you'd only ned about 40wRMS x 4 @ 4 ohms. that'll be a small, and relatively inexpensive amp to find.

I saw a JBL LC-A304 for $40 on eBay, Should I consider this? If not then how about a JBL GTO301.1 or JBL GTS180X? Thanks for everyones help by the way. |
