I have (1) 15" audiobahn sub, I need to know that size amplifier to get. The ratings are 500 rms /w should be 250rms per channel. the people at audiobann recommend a A8000T amp , and the people at crutchfiel recommend a MTX Thuner421D , the sub is dual voice coil rated at 4 ohms. Which amp should I purchase.

the MTX is a much better amplifier.
you want a mono amp putting out around 500wRMS x 1 @ 2 ohms.
