i just recieved my mtx 4002 2 channel amplifier, its specs are 100rms 4 ohm either channel, 200rms 2ohm either channel, or 400 rms bridged channels at 4 ohm. As well it came with a birth sheet telling the exact specs for that amp it read, measured power output 532 watts rms all channels @ 2 ohm. i need to know how to wire this into two svc 4 ohm mtx subs wired to seperate terminal on there box. I would like to be able to push this 532 rms 2ohm between the two subs yet i do not know exactly how please help me! i apologize for my question in advance as im slightly illiterate j/k. |

you can't run those at 2 ohm, it'd have to be bridged to do that and the amp isn't 2 ohm stable bridged. If you had 2 4ohm dvc subs you could run it at the 4 ohm bridged and get the 532wrms. |

no ideal way to run two 4 ohm subs with a stereo amp. you want a mono 2 ohm stable amp instead.. if ya want full power from it. something rated for the combined RMS power of the subs x 1 @ 2 ohms
