I am a beginner with this car sound systems and know little about Amps. I need help on deciding what kind of Amp to buy for powering 3 subs with rms of 150W rms each and (4) 4x6 speakers with unknown rms..... I know I am no expert but if some one could be of some help, how strong should my amp be and with how many channels. |

you need a 4 channel amp for you 4 4x6s, are you 4x6s still factory? cause if they are then you wont need an amp for it cause you will blow them in a second. but for your subs, u could just get another 4 channel amp and hook them up to that. or u could just get an amp for each of them. |

First, what kind of subs are they and what impedance (ohms) are they? If they are aftermarket 4x6s, they're probably somewhere around 50W RMS each, but just in case, let me know what kind of 4x6s they are as well. |
