i have a kicker KX1200.1 and an X.X.X. 15".

i have some 14ga. speaker wire from an old install, but i dont know if it will carry the power that the kx1200.1 is putting out. i need to wire to be about 6ft long (from amp to speaker), will the 14ga. work? or should i go w/ 10ga?

14ga should be fine since it's AC voltage, and high voltage, not high current.

you can always drop by radio shack though and pick up some 12ga "mega cable" speaker wire.
it's actually really nice stuff for a buck a foot.
looks raelly sweet, too.
