i was looking for amps to power my components and i was searching JLs amps and i came across there e2150 and it said new e-class design and i was wondering what made e class different.

the slash series has a regulated power supply so it produces the same output regardless of input voltage.
the slash series also has regulated output so the power output is the same regardless of load between 1.5 and 4 ohms.

the e-series amps are unregulated for both power supply and output so they are load-dependant for output power, as well as voltage dependant.
14 volts in will produce more power at the speakers than 12 volts for example.. and 2 ohms will be more than 4 ohms.
