I will be wiring my amp soon. It is a MTX 4244 w/ 45x4 rms. Should I buy new twisted pair rca cables or will any (I have plenty at home)rca cables work ok to run from the head unit to the amp? I'll be using 2 sets. Also, the amp says use 8ga power wire. I will have a small powered sub in the trunk (50 watts) its power wire is only 14ga. Can I run 8ga to a distribution block, then 8ga to the amp and 14ga to the sub. Will the 8ga to the block be ok. I figure I will need a 35-40 amp fuse at the battery connection.
