I just recently bought a Phoenix Gold QX689 6 x 9. Do they make nice speakers? I mean, I haven't heard about them yet. I have another one.. a Pioneer 3 way 240 watts... which do you think is better? I put them in a 4x1x1 enclosure... pretty descent bass actually...

Not exactly an answer but I just bought some Infinity Kappa 693.5i for the rear of my Blazer, can't wait to get them put in, this is in addition to Perfect 6.5 up front powered by a Hifonics 100 x 4 amp.
I have always liked Pioneers but don't know anything about Phoenix Gold, I know I really liked the Pioneer 6x9 two ways with horn tweeters I had a while ago.....but you can't get them anymore for some reason.
How do you folks out there like your Infinity 3 ways like mine? I am really curious to see if they are as great as I think they will be, I did a lot of research on speakers and for the money (about 130 shipped) these came up on top for me......
