What is the difference between these two amps besides the SX having 50 more watts of power and having a DSP (digital signal processing)? Are these features worth the extra 125-150 bucks? Would there be an audible difference?

I was comparing those two lines myself. I guess if your one of the "tweakazoid" types who like messin with their systems(like me) all that digital stuff sure would be fun to play with, but I'm not sure there's any "SQ" difference between the two.

Have to get some input from Jonathan or Glass.

Digital KickEQ single band parametric equalizer
4 memory Presets
"Sick Bay" technology for real-time diagnostics

those are the main changes to the 1250SX.
it's just the newer version replacement of the 02KX1200.1
