I have a 2001 excursion diesel with remote start and alarm for some reason I am getting a Door Ajar light and my interior lights stay on for 30 minutes only goes off because the truck has a safety to shut off. did not do this intil had alarm installed and dealer is not in area. any ideas I have never worked on one of these..

take it back to where the alarm was installed, or take it to a GM dealer.
otherwise, take it to a shop that sells viper alarms and pay to get it fixed.
anything else voids your warranties.
