hi, i just order an RE 12 x.xx and i dont know what amp to get to power this sub, will it cost more then 400-500 dollers for the amp??(btw i dont like buying off ebay) and should i just build a box with the specs they got on there website?? |

the website plans for a box are good. yes.
as for power to an RE triple X 12", give it between 1,000-1,500 watts RMS.
if you're limited to under $450-500 for the amp, look at a good class D amplifier, such as Kicker, MTX, or Avionixx.
