how big of amp will i need for four 10" kicker comp vr's they are 300 watts rms

300*4 = 1200

a JBL 1200.1 would do the trick for about $200 on sale.
then you'd want the dual 4 ohm coil versions.
wire all coil pairs together in series to get four 8 ohm subs.
wire all four subs together in parallel and you've got a two ohm load on the sub, and 300W each for the subs.
