If I used this amp to power my rear two speakers (6x9 -- 350 watt) could I power the amp by connecting it a spare car-battery I have in the trunk and grounding it to the chasis? Obviously i'll still need the power-antenna cable to trigger it from on and off but could I run this amp off of a spare battery alone for power?

Well even if it will power the amp.. the battery will go dead quite fast since you dont have the battery recharging.. like the one hooked up to your motor is.. I think you should get a better am anyway..pyramid isnt the best..

I got the amp for free so--- I would'nt have bought it. Okeydoke-- I'll set it up to see if things work good and if all is well i'll buy some good wire and a fusebox and run it to the car battery. Thanks.
