Hi everyone, I posted something about this problem, but it has entered a new area at this point. I have a A8002T Audiobahn amp and 2 10" AW1000Q sub(which are both dual 4 Ohm voice coil subs). I need to figure out the wiring diagram for these subs so that I can run them BOTH at 4 Ohms, and I can then get 400 watts of power to each sub, creating 800 total watts, which is less than what the subs can handle but the system(as I'm told, will be stable). Any help would be greatly appreciated. I know that Glasswolf knows a thing or two about this stuff, if he would be willing to post something to help me out. Thanks again -Devin |

Bridge the amp, wire the voice coils in series, then the subs parallel to the amplifier. Here's a diagram: http://www.crutchfieldadvisor.com/ISEO-rgbtcspd/learningcenter/car/subwoofers_wi ring.html?subs=2&impedance=DVC4x2 and choose the 4 ohm wiring option. |
