when do i needto get a HO alternator???I have a Stock 350 in a 81 chevy pick up...I'm wanting to run a Dimond D51200.1 amp..will i need a HO alternator??

when your lights dim or the car doesn't run well due to excessive current draw.
if the car doesn't show any signs of the voltage rails sagging, you're fine.
