If i bought this amp http://www.cardomain.com/item/JBLBP6001Z what else do i need to buy for accesories like fuses and sh1t? What wiring kit do you guys reccomend? Does it have to be expensive? My budget varies depending on how much stuff i need to buy, but i would like to keep everything under $100...thanks |

Pat, go to a Builders Square or Home Depot to get your wires and connectors. I bought the RCA plugs at Radio Shack (monster cables) for $20.00 and the 4 gauge power wire is $1.00 a foot. The connectors are a few bucks and the 60 amp fuses and holders are a couple bucks. If you buy everything already cut and made up, expect to pay about 2X as much.

Or go to Walmart http://www.walmart.com/catalog/product.gsp?product_id=1863080 That kit should have evrything you need. The RCA's are the only thing that might not be up to snuff, but may work just fine for you. As far as power wires goes, 4 gauge is pretty much 4 gauge. The real expensive stuff just has a lil thicker insulation and more strands which make it more flexible and easier to route around corners and such. -Fishy |
