i'm lookin at either getting a crossfire 600w or 1000 watt amp...

i say the birth sheet on a 1000w one and it said 1334 wrms @14.4V.

are these amps any good?

I don't have a world of knowlege on these .. but one of the local car audio places has Eclipse and Crossfire amps set up. I first listened to the crossfires because they were less expensive (doesn't mean they were cheap). They sounded good to me. Better than the Pioneers and Alpine amps I've had in the past. But the Eclipses sounded better .. cleaner.

Thats about all I can actually say about em.

I have a 300 and a 140 watt older crossfire amp both are way under rated and the 300 i belive is 1 ohm stable (which it doesnt say on it) but i tested it with a multimeter and found this out :-) For what i paid for them i am happy, bought them both used one from a buddy of mine and the other at a yard sale. I have had em for about 3 years now and they are both still runnin strong after pushing them (and many subs) to the limit.
