i have a JL12W3D4 and a Rockford P3001. Its 300x1 at 2ohms rms. my sub's vc's are run in parallel to get a two ohm load, but my quest is how to hook it to my amp. The amp has 2 sets ao terminals, 2 pos. and 2 neg. But its a mono block amp. do I hook up a pos. on one side and neg. on the other side of the amp like bridging or just hook up the pos. and neg. that are side by side? Hope yall can understand and help me. |

if its a mono amp, then it just has two terminals (it acts like a distro. block so you can hook up more than one sub easily) ...like the JBL bp600.1 just hook it you to one (-) and (+) |

like this http://home.comcast.net/~guppyrig/wsb/media/322068/site1052.JPG The actual positions of the positive and negative terminals on that sub are probably reversed from the diagram. I just put em that way to make it easier to draw the wiring. good luck -Fishy |

There's two terminals on that monoblock for convenience sake. It can make it easier to run a pair of speakers in parallel that way. Both "positives" and "negatives" are common to each other. -Fishy |
