i have installed a KDC-3027A hooked up to a splx 1000w amp and a set of pioneer 200w 6X9's into a mates car he got the amp speakers and wiring from a crashed car and a sub woofer the woofer was useless and just rattled i installed the gear in the normal way grounded the amp ect ect the amp goes for a while and then hits protected mode we have not been running it hard and this is in ireland so it aint all that hot any ideas i have done a good few intalls and have had no problems
