I have a '99 Dodge Dakota and I just took out the stock stereo. The wiring is completely different than what my new deck has, including wire colors. How do I know what's what? |

get a wire tester and tern the car of and tutch it to each wire untill u the light comes on and that will be ur consent live wire. to find u switched wire tern the car switch on and tutch it to each wire untill it lites up and that will be ur switched wire and the ground should be the black wire. to find the speacker wires ul have to pull out each speacker to find out the wires for it. You need a wiring harness. Plain and simple. Don't listen to this guy who can't even spell touch. |

well thats fine sorry i cant spell but they dont make wiring harnesses for every car.Like mine i couldnt find one for my car and thats what i did so i was just trying to help. |
