lookin for a descent head unit. cost arount 200, willing to go to 300 if worth it. anybody got any suggestions on brands/models?

I'd go with the clarion DXZ745MP.
Check out the features and price at www.carmedia1.com pretty good deal and it has some of the best SQ bites ive heard in a deck under 300
