I have a Phoenix gold amp. It doesnt say a model number or so but its said to be rated at 1000watts. I also have a older Rockford Fosgate thats 800watts. Should that be enough power to sub one Adire Brahma or one RE X.X.X.. I plan to go with a 15' sub for w/e sub i will pick out of the two. Bc i have a yukon. Ill get the second one a few more weeks down the road. Thanks. |

there were many diferent models of phoenix gold amps but all put out decent power of course as always different models were better than others but overall phoenix gold has a good reputation...rockford had some good stuff too back in the day but ive heard its slacked a bit in the recent years id say try it out dont think youll be disappointed with the results |

Go with the rockford, it will power it. The phoneix gold is cheap stuff. |

the model on my rockford is punch 800a2. The PG amp looks really really old. So old it has no type of details on it and so forth. But when opened looks nice. I just cant find the model number. But yeah these amps are older models. Newer modeled amps dont please me much. But yeah. thanks for your help. |
