Hi, What is independance is it the way you wire your up your sub or is it the sub?, or i also heard that 4 Ohms was to do with double voice coil and 2 Ohms with a single voice coil correct me if im wrong, cheers...... |

LOL My friend, i think you are talking about impendance here... You are right for the ohms. Can someone with a little more knowledge than me explain plz. |

david u got ur info a bit wrong..subs either come in dual ohm voice coil or single voice coil (SVC)if u got dual 4 ohm subwoofer, u can wire ur subs to get 2ohm or a 8 ohm load on ur amp... it also depend in ur amp chekc out its spec it will tell u if its 1, 2 or 4 ohm stable but most amps are 4ohm stable just the class D (digital) amp go down to 2 ohms or the top quality go down to 1 ohm stable. just check out their specs they will tell u.. hope it helps |
