my freind has a 800watt american legacy(i know g@y...)running 2 boss ripper 12's i need to know why it will play for 1/4 of a second and go into protect mode the 2 rippers are 4 ohm svc so i dont think thats a problem,fast help is appreciated

coils might be seperatd on one of the subs subs are often the case of protect

you mean shorted, not separated

well even when i hook up one sub it goes into protect could there be something wrong with the amp?
