I have a 1997 with a stock Delco cassette player I need to know how to hook up an amp to it if any one can help I appreciate it.

you need to buy new speaker mount them. you need to buy an amp and mount it in the trunk or under a seat some where. you need to run speaker wires from the amp to the speaker. you need to get a rec converter, splice into the wires behind the radio and run rca wires from the converter behind the radio to the amp. dont foget the power and ground wires also.
