Anyone have any suggestions on what amp i should use to power this sub? im thinking of a rockford fosgate 1001bd is this amp sufficient? does anyone have any other suggestions?

I would not get the RF, I prefer mtx(easy to setup), jbl, kicker, if you want to spend more, try JL, Zapco, arcaudio... put about 1000 rms more or less. Hope that helps.
