It depends on how much money you want to spend. So far the best overall for performance would be Pioneer's(www.pioneerelectronics.com) Priemier 5000 Watt competition Sub(173.01dbls so far), but unless you have $900 lyin' around it wouln't get it(that's for the sub alone(no enclosers)). The best bang for your buck I would say the SPL Series(Power Acoustik)2800 watt 15 in. circumference and only $181 for one(go to www.justwoofers.com and look for SPL on left side, click then click the SPL series(Major sale!). Last But certainly not the least in any way would be the "bragging rights sub" a 15 in. 10,000(yes ten-thousand) watts of total power(made by Ma Audio @ www.maaudio.com), but the down side is you would need a dang generator to power the amps you'll need to get it to it's max(it might take 9 amps to do so), and also you'll need about $1,099 for this baby that's just the sub it's self(not to mention about $300 for an encloser that can stand the vibrations it puts out(I don't have one ,just tested)).
