I love my alpine but there is one problem. When i turn the system off (to ride in quiet), the face plate makes a noticeable rattle. Has anyone else noticed this? Besiedes wedging a piece of paper or taking the face completely out(which I almost never do) is there any solution. |

Glasswolf, That's odd. This one is actually my second one. I took the first back to CC for the same problem. Maybe my 99 Ford Ranger has more vibration that what you drive. The noise seems to be coming from road or engine vibration while driving---not while sitting still at idle. |

ahh maybe the mounting is what's quirky then. see if you can secure it.. stick backstrap behind it and bolt the back end of that puppy into the car so it won't move. also makes it a REAL pain to steal for a thief when it's bolted in from behind heh mine is in a 94 Grand Cherokee, so it's got a stiff ride as well.. SUV-wise. I mean it's not like a luxury car.. heh www.wickedcases.com/jeep/page2.html
