hi, i have a sony head unit with the EQ 7 bands on it, and 7 band eq for each of the different bands...i am powering my full range speakers with a sony explod 500 watt max amp, and my kicker comp CVR with a sony 1000 watt amp....my question is would a crossover make any difference on sound? or be better or worse or anything in anyway?

your head unit has a built in crossover and so do your amps, i would say no, maybe take it to a shop that sells sony decks and ask them to adjust your settings.
