Thread: Umm lack of preamps but still have RCA jacks? |

ok i just dropped about 375$ in the past 2 days on subs/amps and required accessories, i finally found the manual for my radio but it has no pramp outputs, i pulled it out i do have a pair of rca output jacks on the back of the head unit. can i still use this or do i have to wait till i get some more money and buy a new head unit?

try it, if it dosen't work that's ok..
you'll need a line level converter for it if it dosen't work. just hook it up to the speaker wires off the deck. then you are all set for when you get a new deck with working RCA's. |

Well if you have the RCA outputs then plug in the RCAs, no need for a new head unit if it still works fine. |
