Hey...I have an MP3/CD player, and it plays mp3's awesomely. Also I installed an mp3/CD player on my friend's car.

THe problem is, both of them skip like hell with CDs. Little bumps in the road cause them to skip. It's kinda pathetic. My friend is good looking, so of course I don't want her mad at me over this. What can I d to make them stop skipping?

What sort of features do CD/mp3 players have to prevent skipping?

Does the deck have proper supports? If not, than vibtration of the entire system may be causing the problem. You may have to custom cut and fit pipe runner (long metal strip with holes in it) and bolt it to the deck and the vehicle.

Also, what deck are you using?
