Ok, I have a Clarion DXZ545MP head unit, which has 2 sets of pre-outs. I would like to hook up a mono alpine amp rated at 350 rms X 1 and 2 ohms, which will be powering my 2 Kicker Comp 12" subs. I would also like to hook up either a 2 channel amp or a 4 channel amp to power my 6x9 speakers and my door speakers. I need to know if i can hook all this up on just 2 sets of pre-outs. if not will the outputs on the amp work. I dont know nothing about this stuff. I also need to know how to hook up the 6x9 and the door speakers up to the amp and the head unit.

yes that will work but if you use a the 4 channell amp for youre doors you will need 2 y adapters that will split the patch cables so you can run the cables to that 4 channel amp |
