ROFL! I am definitely a fan of the Onkyo. That said, I have not listened to the denon system. Do yourself a favor and listen to BOTH, then make a decision. Had I taken the advice from an internet forum without actually listening to the systems, I would have purchased a Kenwood 505. The onkyo is really a step up, in my view, from the Kenwood. For all I know, the denon is a step up from the Okyo, or visa versa. Listen for yourself. |

On the previous huge thread discussing the merits of the denon, kenwood, and onkyo, the consensus was the onkyo ruled.
The best advice though was mentioned above. Listen to them both and decide for yourself. They're likely to both sound excellent. I have the onkyo and it sounds great. I'm sure the Denon sounds great too.
