I have a Technics SA-DX1050 receiver with Technics stereo speakers. This receiver supports 5.1 and I'd like to add the remaining speakers to make this a reality. What do you recommend for center, subwoofer, and two rear satelites? budget- like to keep it under $500, but can go over. room size is about 14 square feet, in an apartment. Viewing distance to TV is 8 feet. Space is limited, speakers should be fairly compact. I've heard good things about Ascend Acoustics but I don't have any particular brand preference right now. Also, is it feasible for the rear speakers to be wireless? |

You are on the right track with Ascend Acoustics. Try the CBM-170s all around plus the HSU subwoofer. your Technics should be able to crank without trouble. Don't even think about wireless right now, get the systems first cheers |
