sure, I was thinking of 5.1 package but now I realize that I should start with stereo main speakers since I will use it primarily for music rather than movies. Budget: 250-400. for main speakers. thanks. I also plan to use iPod and laptop as the source so if you have any recommendations on that side, please help me. http://forum.ecoustics.com/bbs/messages/1/93002.html I noticed that you are a resident guru on digital music field. thanks! |

Check out the Ascend Acoustics cbm-170 for $328 a pair. An unbelievable set! http://www.ascendacoustics.com/pages/products/speakers/cbm170/cbm170.html And equally awesome would be the Axiom M22Ti for $400 a pair can't be beat. http://www.axiomaudio.com/m22ti.html The Ipods and laptops will have its limitations fidelity wise, but I suspect you wouldn't mind too much, unless you start getting into high resolution sources. cheers |
