I cant get my Sony STR-DB790 receiver to play dolby digital sound when i hook it up to my computer which has a soundblaster live 5.1 soundcard. The reciver display shows that i recievs a PCM 48 khz signal but no dolby digital sound? I have read about similar PCM promlems posted on the forum. My big problem is that i have no option on the computer to chang the output. Is it impossble for the reciever to decode the signal? I only get stereo sound.
PLEASE help me!

Thanks mate but i solved the problem myself.
I just hooked up a mono/rca converter to the digital output on my soundcard and connected an rca cable to my digital coaxial input on the reciever! Works great now!
