Thread: Fixed Audio out on Akai and Samsung 42"Rear projection HDTV? |

I am interested in buying either Akai or Samsung 42" Rear projection HDTV. Will both of these be able to hook up to my Panasonic HT-920 Home Theater system? Will I be able to turn the TV sound completely off and listen only through my receiver? I will be also using a Comcast Digital HDTV box with this. I am asking this because everything I have read about both these TVs doesn't say they have a fixed audio out on them. My 2001 Panasonic 25" has Fixed Audio out and my home theater works great on it and I don't even have a cable box for that tv. Any help anyone can give me would be greatly appreciated. I am going to be purchasing one of these tvs for our den in the next week. My other option is a Zenith 40" but it does not have a screen protector even though it says it has fixed audio out. Thanks a bunch in advance!
