I just bought a Yamaha 7 piece (2 satellite, 3 surround, 1 center, subwoofer) speaker system. The only thing I'm familiar with are home theater packages that come with DVD players/receivers. So, with that in mind, what do I need to hook the system up to my TV and gaming systems? |

Kind've tight right now. I was hoping there was a way to hook them up through VGA, but I suspected that I would need a receiver.. I just wanted to make sure before I went out and bought one. |

that's cool, just don't buy the first thing you see. Go out and take the time to do your research and listen. |

It's a good time of year to purchase receivers...lots of specials as the model year closes out, and generally not many changes from year to year. Definitely starting to see closeouts on Onkyos and JVCs, and I'm sure the rest are to follow... |
